What has God done for you? He sent Jesus from above to come to the earth to deliver you from your sins and then sent you the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you. So, you not only have eternal assurance because of God, but you have a chance of a better life because of Him. Without God, you would still be wandering aimlessly in darkness, but He has drawn you out of darkness into His marvelous light (Colossians 1:13). You should never forget that you have been saved from something aweful to something awesome: you have been saved from hell to heaven, from darkness to light, fear to faith, mourning to joy, poverty to abundance, and from slavery to sonship. God did not just send Jesus from above so you can survive, He sent Him so that you can thrive. I repeat, remember that God has not only taken you as His own, but He has also taken you from the craziness that you once walked in and given you a chance at reigning in life. There are endless reasons why He is so worthy of your praise! He is the God of your deliverance.
