He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat – Psalm 147:14
Just about every great empire that collapsed first imploded due to internal strife and issues. To quell such internal strife, most decided to wage wars as a way to create solidarity within and temporarily distract from the real issues. Yet, this strategy did not work in the long run as the internal issues caused them to make enemies externally and caused enemies to rise from within as the wealth of the empire declined. Without God, as empires become wealthier, they start to yield to avarice and other vices that cause their destruction. In this verse, we see that things are different with God. With God, empires get the benefit of living in prosperity (being filled with the finest wheat) while leaving peacefully. It is said that problems accompany money. With God, there is no such thing as more money, more problems within your family empire.
When I live in Him, I can prosper without experiencing soul poverty.
