The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand – Psalm 121:5
Are you living in a place that is full of turmoil? Are you in an unsafe and chaotic place? Fear not! The Lord is your defender and keeper! He will keep you cool and protect you from the heat of life. He will keep you calm despite the things that are happening around you. He who keeps you neither sleeps nor slumber. He will preserve you when you go out and come in. The Lord knows how to protect His children. This is why it is important to be close to God to listen to His voice. With God as your guide, you have nothing to worry about. He is always on your right hand, so make sure you reach out to Him. He is your shade, so be sure you abide under His shadow. You can try to Shepherd yourself, but it won’t end well. You can try to fake your way through life, but it is better to faith your way through it. Remember that you are a sheep and not a Shepherd. So rest in his shade and let Him keep you.
