Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters above the heavens! – Psalm 148:4
The bible tells us in the creation story of book of Genesis that God separated the waters from the waters. When the Psalmist writes here about the waters of the heavens, he is not referring to rain drops but speaking of the creation beyond our atmosphere (heaven). How does creation praise God? They make a show of His greatness through the myriads of cosmic events that happen without ceasing. The Psalmist would only have been able to see a scintilla of the show happening in the heavens in his time. Through technological advancements, today we see that waters above the heavens are in a state of constant praise. We should take a page from creation! We should make a constant show of the greatness of God in our lives by bending to His word and His will just like all other forms of creation. The heavens show us that praise is expressed through constant action.
My actions will be an expression of praise to God
