Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves – Psalm 100:3
No person knows what has been created better than the creator. Only the creator knows its full capacity, capability and limitations. Therefore, only the creator can set limits and can speak to what the creation is capable of and not. So, when God tells to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it, it is because He knows we are more than capable of doing it. Furthermore, every command that God gives us is not beyond our innate capability. This is especially the case for we who believe in Christ, because we have the strength of the Holy Spirit in us, working in us and through us. Therefore, we shouldn’t allow other people to set limits on us or let our own small-mindedness and misgivings about our identity determine and set our limits. Rather, we should simply ask God: What am I capable of doing though the power of Your Spirit? The moment we stop paying attention to what others say about us and what we say about ourselves but pay attention to what God says about us is when we become limitless.
Only God can set limits on me
