What would happen if you purposed in your heart to do the right things in the right way? King David spoke to himself, saying ‘enough is enough’. He decided that he was no longer going to give himself to foolishness, such as he did when he decided to have an inappropriate relationship with a married woman. Did the king walk perfectly as he had purposed? It is highly unlikely. But did he reduce the number of times he did foolish things because of his attitude? It is highly likely. Just as David did, we too should decide that enough is enough when it comes to those things that hinder us. No more unhealthy eating, depression, toxic relationships, living in debt, incessant family infighting. How would your life change if you decided to purpose in your heart that enough is enough? What is it that you need to change today?
