The heavens are the Lord’s responsibility, but the earth is our responsibility. Good stewards make good use of the earth’s resources, innovates upon the resources, and ensures that the resources are not wasted. Failure to be good stewards has health, wealth, and welfare consequences. What resource do you see around you? What resources have you been blessed with? We shouldn’t leave those resources fallow, but we should endeavor to use them for the benefit of mankind in a sustainable manner. We shouldn’t be apathetic about the state of our environment but look to make our environment better. What little thing can you do today to be a better steward of the gift God has given all of us to enjoy? We will either reap the rewards of good stewardship or suffer the consequences of bad stewardship. The choice is ours!
