Had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach, to turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them –Psalm 106:23
Poor Moses! He was a God-appointed leader who was doing his very best for the people, but all they did was complain. And yet when they messed up, he was there to bail them out from the wrath of God. He must have wondered to himself at times – Lord why me! Why do I have to suffer these people. Leaders know that leadership can be a thankless job. They are doing the best they can but all they get are complaints. If you are in a position of leadership, you understand. If you are not in a leadership position, consider cutting your leader some slack. They are imperfect but are doing their best. Encourage and support your appointed leader, because the better they do, the better things get for everyone. Is there a person who plays a leadership role in your life that you can think of today that could do with a thank you? Is there a leader in your life that could do with your support?
Today, I will choose to compliment instead of complain.
